Often times, engaging in outdoor sports and other activities leads to shoulder injuries. In many cases, this is because of a lack of flexibility/mobility and poor movement or biomechanics. Also, our shoulders are reliant on multiple areas of the body to maintain proper function. Complications with the neck, upper back and large muscles like the “lats” can create problems that appear to be shoulder issues.
